Waist to hip Ratio calculator

The waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) is a measure of body fat distribution. It is calculated by dividing the waist circumference by the hip circumference. A higher WHR is generally associated with a higher risk of heart disease, diabetes, and other health problems.

There are different guidelines for what is considered a healthy WHR, but in general, a WHR of less than 0.80 for women and less than 0.90 for men is considered healthy. According to World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC), a WHR of 0.80 or higher for women and 0.90 or higher for men is considered unhealthy.

It’s important to note that the WHR is just one factor to consider when evaluating overall health. Other factors, such as body mass index (BMI) and body fat percentage, can also be important indicators of health. It’s a good idea to speak with a healthcare provider about what is considered a healthy range for these measures based on your age, gender, and other factors.
