Reebok Deck Review – Best Workout Bench?

By | September 2, 2017

At first glance, the Reebok Deck is an expensive piece of chunky plastic. Well, in this Reebok deck review, we will show you why it isn’t. In fact, we will show you why you need it right now as part of your weight-loss toolkit.

However, there are a couple of drawbacks to Reebok Professional Deck Bench that you need to know before buying.

What Is Reebok Professional Deck Bench? It’s More Than Just a Bench!

As mentioned, the Reebok Deck Bench looks like a big chunk of plastic. But once out of the box, you can see why so many personal trainers choose this equipment.

Firstly, holding the deck in your hands, you can feel the quality. Moreover, you know it can take some abuse. Although easy to carry, its a lot heavier than it looks.

This is where the Reebok Deck is superior to all other step boards. In fact, every gym and health club we have worked in all have the Reebok Professional Deck Bench. For me, this speaks volumes.

After all, gyms and health clubs want to avoid lawsuits. With hundreds of people using the board a week, they have to be the best!

Built For The User In Mind

Reebok’s engineers have been busy. As a result, you have maximum durability while not compromising user experience.

All the movable parts require no strength and take just seconds to adjust. In short, all you have to do is squeeze the red lever, and the legs swing in or out.

Furthermore, the secret compartment is just as easy to open. This also doubles up for the incline.

Bench features –

  • Internal storage compartment for weights and resistance tubes (not included)
  • Incline/decline/flat has three position angle support
  • Clips to attach resistance tubes for a varied workout
  • Two height positions

Draw Backs To Reebok Deck

Nothing is perfect. But this board does come damn close. However, you should know two major drawbacks and a couple of minor niggles before you buy this deck.

Drawback #1

If you are over 6ft, this deck will be uncomfortable to use. Dan, our newest client, is 6.2 and has real trouble on this bench. When  Dan lays down on it, his tailbone hangs off the end. Being over 6ft severely reduces the potential of this bench.

Draw Back #2

Looking to lift heavy weights? Forget it! Reebok Professional Deck Bench isn’t designed for bodybuilders. If you want to build serious muscle, opt for a commercial weight bench.

Although this may be true, toning up will be just fine. Plus, the deck does come with resistant band attachments. In most cases, these bands are great for losing weight and getting a defined body.

Additionally, there are a couple of minor niggles to watch for. Firstly, the deck has a severe pinch hazard. When releasing the feet for extra height, be careful of your fingers. Trust me, it hurts.

Secondly, this is a biggie. DONT confuse this deck with Reebok’s step board. The Reebok step board is a big waste of money and only marginally cheaper than the Reebok Professional Deck Bench.

Last Word On Reebok Deck Review

We cant sing the praises of the Reebok Deck highly enough. Although we use the gyms, these are a great addition to any home gym. In fact, scrap the gym you will get by just fine with this one piece of equipment.

Reebok (1) has excelled at the board’s durability. You can jump on it as much as you want, it will last you years. We train every client and ourselves with this deck. In like manner, we will continue to use this until something better comes along.

We may be waiting for a while! Reebok Professional Deck Bench has dominated for years. We are not surprised.

If we look past the durability, it has compartments for dumbbells or resistant straps. The board stores away conveniently as well.

With all this in mind, it’s easy to forget the staggering amount of exercises you can do. There are 100’s, and that’s without equipment!

We hope you liked Reebok Deck Review. Please see the quick buy guide below and let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Detailed review! I’m a fitness blogger too and to be honest, this is a very good bench for home use. I think that I’ll review this product for my readers in the future.

Ive used these in the gym for a class called body pump. Have you heard of body pump?

Anyway, the gym got a bit to pricey for me so this would be perfect to buy for my homeworkouts.

Thanks for the link im to buy one now!!

I think this would be great for our house. Whatever we bring into the house, the kids (4 and 18 years old) have to try it out. It’s durable and does the job which is exactly what we need. I don’t have to worry about the kids getting hold of it and breaking it.

It is a great addition to the home. I wouldn’t worry about the kids breaking it either.

In fact, they will probably find some way to have fun with it.

Glad to run across this page.
I have tried so many different workout gimicks in the past, wasted a lot of money on items that never did work. Glad I found this review prior to purchasing it. You seem to cover all my questions in the review.
Is there a video on how to safely use this unit? I am a larger sized guy, will it hold up against 270 pounds? Maybe I can lower that number once I get this unit.
Thanks for the great review, I will check back to see what else you will have to help me lose this belly fat.

Wow, such a great product. This has a high rating and you seem like you know what you’re talking about, so I’m going to share this article with one of my fitness friends. He’ll probably like that it’s built for the user in mind and going to last for many years, especially because it’s from a reputable brand. Thanks a lot.

This is a fantastic Reebok bench review, Steven. I found it very helpful indeed. As a matter of fact, it covers everything a person needs to know before they purchase the Reebok bench. So, thank you for such an informative read. I at least feel a lot more knowledgeable about it.

Its a great bench for the reasons stated above. Losing weight is much easier with the right tools and the reebok deck is certainly the right tool

Thanks for the rundown, out of curiosity is it comfortable to sit on or lay on? It looks like it would have ridges that dig right into your back the entire time you’re using it…

Personally, I dont find it too bad (probably because imm used to it) However, some of my clients do say it can be uncomfortable. If you just place a towel on top of it then this usually solves this minor problem.

Thanks for providing the detailed review. My husband was looking for a professional deck bench but was not sure which brand to go for. After reading your review he was easily able to decide upon.

Wow. I am really impressed with the look of the Reebok Deck Bench. I will certainly be using this over and over. What i really liked about this bench was the craftsmanship. They took the time to put together a quality product that will serve its purpose day after day.

At first glance the Reebok Deck Bench looks like a simple bench. It looks very nice but it has a few secrets. The 3 position supports are truly awesome. It’s simple to adjust from incline to decline to flat. Nice.

I also really like the storage compartment because its a great way to use the space. Simple. Yet very effective.

I look forwards to mine coming in the mail. It’s going to look great in my home gym.

    Glad i found this review.
