At first glance, the Reebok Deck is an expensive piece of chunky plastic. Well, in this Reebok deck review, we will show you why it isn’t. In fact, we will show you why you need it right now as part of your weight-loss toolkit.
However, there are a couple of drawbacks to Reebok Professional Deck Bench that you need to know before buying.
What Is Reebok Professional Deck Bench? It’s More Than Just a Bench!
As mentioned, the Reebok Deck Bench looks like a big chunk of plastic. But once out of the box, you can see why so many personal trainers choose this equipment.
Firstly, holding the deck in your hands, you can feel the quality. Moreover, you know it can take some abuse. Although easy to carry, its a lot heavier than it looks.
This is where the Reebok Deck is superior to all other step boards. In fact, every gym and health club we have worked in all have the Reebok Professional Deck Bench. For me, this speaks volumes.
After all, gyms and health clubs want to avoid lawsuits. With hundreds of people using the board a week, they have to be the best!
Built For The User In Mind
Reebok’s engineers have been busy. As a result, you have maximum durability while not compromising user experience.
All the movable parts require no strength and take just seconds to adjust. In short, all you have to do is squeeze the red lever, and the legs swing in or out.
Furthermore, the secret compartment is just as easy to open. This also doubles up for the incline.
Bench features –
- Internal storage compartment for weights and resistance tubes (not included)
- Incline/decline/flat has three position angle support
- Clips to attach resistance tubes for a varied workout
- Two height positions
Draw Backs To Reebok Deck
Nothing is perfect. But this board does come damn close. However, you should know two major drawbacks and a couple of minor niggles before you buy this deck.
If you are over 6ft, this deck will be uncomfortable to use. Dan, our newest client, is 6.2 and has real trouble on this bench. When Dan lays down on it, his tailbone hangs off the end. Being over 6ft severely reduces the potential of this bench.
Draw Back #2
Looking to lift heavy weights? Forget it! Reebok Professional Deck Bench isn’t designed for bodybuilders. If you want to build serious muscle, opt for a commercial weight bench.
Although this may be true, toning up will be just fine. Plus, the deck does come with resistant band attachments. In most cases, these bands are great for losing weight and getting a defined body.
Additionally, there are a couple of minor niggles to watch for. Firstly, the deck has a severe pinch hazard. When releasing the feet for extra height, be careful of your fingers. Trust me, it hurts.
Secondly, this is a biggie. DONT confuse this deck with Reebok’s step board. The Reebok step board is a big waste of money and only marginally cheaper than the Reebok Professional Deck Bench.
Last Word On Reebok Deck Review
We cant sing the praises of the Reebok Deck highly enough. Although we use the gyms, these are a great addition to any home gym. In fact, scrap the gym you will get by just fine with this one piece of equipment.
Reebok (1) has excelled at the board’s durability. You can jump on it as much as you want, it will last you years. We train every client and ourselves with this deck. In like manner, we will continue to use this until something better comes along.
We may be waiting for a while! Reebok Professional Deck Bench has dominated for years. We are not surprised.
If we look past the durability, it has compartments for dumbbells or resistant straps. The board stores away conveniently as well.
With all this in mind, it’s easy to forget the staggering amount of exercises you can do. There are 100’s, and that’s without equipment!
